Copyright

© 2025 IQ Navigation AG (hereinafter referred to as ‘owner’). All rights of reproduction are reserved. All elements of our web pages, the web design, all texts, graphics, retrievable documents, etc. are the intellectual property of the owner and protected with all rights. Reproduction of the entire page or only a part on any electronic medium or on paper is prohibited, except with the express permission of the owner.

Contents of the online offer

The owner assumes no responsibility for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Claims for liability against the author, which relate to damages of a material or immaterial nature, and which have been caused by the use or non-use of the information provided or by the use of incorrect or incomplete information, are excluded in principle, unless there is demonstrably intentional or grossly negligent fault on the part of the author. All offers are subject to change and are non-binding. The author expressly reserves the right to change, supplement or delete parts of the pages or the entire content without separate announcement, or to temporarily or permanently cease publication.

References and links

In the case of direct or indirect references to third-party websites (‘links’) that are outside the author’s area of responsibility, liability would only arise in the event that the author is aware of the contents and it would be technically possible and reasonable for him to prevent use in the event of illegal contents. The author therefore expressly declares that at the time the links were set up, the corresponding linked pages were free of illegal content. The author has no influence on the current and future design and content of the linked pages. Therefore, he hereby expressly distances himself from all contents of all linked pages that were changed after the link was set up. This applies to all links and references within the author’s own website and to third-party entries in guest books, discussion forums and mailing lists set up by the author. The provider of the site to which reference is made shall be solely liable for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and in particular for damage arising from the use or non-use of the information provided in this way, and not the person who merely refers to the respective publication via links.

Should illegal sites be accessible via the hyperlinks, please notify info(at)iqnavigation.com. We will then check this and remove the links if necessary.

Copyright, trademark and labelling law

The author endeavours to observe the copyrights of graphics, sound documents, video sequences and texts used in all his publications, or to use only those objects that he has created himself, that are royalty-free or for which he holds licences. All trademarks and logos mentioned within the online content and possibly protected by third parties are subject without restriction to the provisions of the respectively valid trademark law and the ownership rights of the respective registered owners. The mere mention of a trademark does not imply that it is not protected by third-party rights!

The mentioning of company names, product designations, brand names or trademarks is in recognition of all rights of their respective owners. The mention serves only as an indication of the purpose of our products and services.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses so-called ‘cookies’, text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the features of this website to their full extent. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

No written warning without prior contact

Should the content or design of this website violate the rights of third parties or legal provisions, we request notification without issuing a cost note. Rightly objected passages will be removed immediately, so that the intervention of a legal adviser is not required. Nevertheless, we will reject any costs incurred by you without prior contact and may file a counterclaim for violation of the aforementioned provisions.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. To do so, an informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

IF THE DATA PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6 ABS. 1 LIT. E OR F OF THE GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT, ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA, THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH ADVERTISING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT THAT IT IS AFFILIATED WITH SUCH DIRECT ADVERTISING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21 SEC. 2 GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects are entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged violation. The right to lodge a complaint exists regardless of any other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data which we process based on your consent or in fulfilment of a contract automatically delivered to yourself or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you require the direct transfer of data to another responsible party, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, deletion and correction

Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right to at any time demand information about your archived personal data, their source and recipients as well as the purpose of the processing of your data. You may also have a right to have your data rectified or eradicated. If you have questions about this subject matter or any other questions about personal data, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time at the address provided in the imprint.

Right to restriction of data processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. To do so, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. The right to restriction of processing applies in the following cases:

If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If the processing of your personal data was/is carried out unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted instead of deleted.
If you have objected to processing pursuant to Article 21(1) GDPR, your rights and our rights will have to be weighed against each other. While it is not yet clear whose interests prevail, you have the right to demand a restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data – apart from their storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims or protecting the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

3. Data collection on this website

Cookies

Our websites use so-called ‘cookies’. Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your end device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your end device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your end device when you visit our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services provided by the third-party company (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behaviour or display advertising.

Cookies that are required for the performance of the electronic communications transaction (required cookies) or to provide certain functions you want to use (functional cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart function) or those that are necessary for the optimisation of the website (e.g. cookies that provide measurable insights into the web audience), shall be stored on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless a different legal basis is cited. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies to ensure an optimised service provided free of technical errors. If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the storage of the cookies in question is based exclusively on this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO); consent may be revoked at any time.

You can adjust the settings on your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies in certain cases or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

If cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you of this separately in the context of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, request your consent.

Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in ‘server log files’. These are:

Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Referrer URL
host name of the accessing computer
time of the server request
IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.

This data is recorded on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in the technically error free depiction and the optimization of the operator’s website.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries using the contact form, the information you provide in the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of these data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, insofar as your request is related to the execution of a contract or is required for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), provided that the request was made.

The information you have entered into the contact form shall remain with us until you ask us to eradicate the data, revoke your consent to the archiving of data or if the purpose for which the information is being archived no longer exists (e.g. after we have concluded our response to your inquiry). This shall be without prejudice to any mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods.

Contacting us by e-mail, telephone or fax

If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided that your request is related to the execution of a contract or is required for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO), provided that this has been requested.

We will retain the data you send to us via contact requests until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.

4. Analytics and advertising

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider of this service is Google Ireland Limited (‘Google’), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics uses so-called ‘cookies’. These are text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the United States and stored there.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the utilisation of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to store cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.

IP anonymisation

We have activated the IP anonymisation feature on this website. Your IP address will be shortened by Google within the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the data generated by cookies about your use of the website (incl. your IP address) from being passed to Google, and the processing of these data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Objecting to the collection of data

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent your data from being collected on future visits to this site: Disable Google Analytics.

For more information about how Google Analytics handles user data, see Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Contract data processing

We have executed a contract data processing agreement with Google and are implementing the stringent requirements of the German data protection agencies to the fullest when it comes to the use of Google Analytics. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time by adjusting the ads settings in your Google account or you can forbid the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section ‘Refusal of data collection’.

Storage duration

Data stored by Google at user and event level that is linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g. User ID) or advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) is anonymised or deleted after 14 months. For details, please see the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=de

5. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or will only be collected on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The data entered in the newsletter registration form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the ‘unsubscribe’ link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected.

After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is used only for this purpose and not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). The storage in the blacklist is indefinite. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

6. Plugins and tools

YouTube with advanced data protection

This website embeds videos from YouTube. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited (‘Google’), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use YouTube in advanced data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode ensures that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, the advanced data protection mode does not necessarily prevent data from being passed on to YouTube partners. For example, YouTube connects to the Google DoubleClick network regardless of whether you are watching a video or not.

As soon as you start to play a YouTube video on this website, a connection to the YouTube servers will be established. This will tell the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to directly allocate your surfing behaviour to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, after starting a video, YouTube can store various cookies on your end device. With the help of these cookies, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent fraud attempts. The cookies remain on your end device until you delete them.

It is possible that further data processing operations over which we have no control may be triggered after a YouTube video has been launched.

YouTube is used in the interest of presenting our online services in an appealing manner. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.

Further information about data protection at YouTube can be found in their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts, which are provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. The Google fonts are installed locally. A connection to Google servers does not take place.

Further information about Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
